Concrete pump trucks are modified from truck chassis. The chassis is equipped with motion and power transmission devices, pumping and mixing devices, etc., and equipped with retractable or flexural distribution booms to form a pump truck.

What is "pumping concrete"?

Pumping concrete is the use of concrete pumps or pump trucks to transport and pour concrete mixtures along the delivery pipe. It is an effective way to transport concrete mixtures, with fast speed and less labor, and is especially suitable for the transportation and pouring of large-volume concrete and high-rise building concrete. Concrete pump trucks are generally divided into boom pumps, vehicle-mounted pumps, and trailer pumps (Haomei Machinery products), which are connected to the construction work surface through a certain length of pump pipe. The concrete used for pumping requires good fluidity, the aggregate particle size is generally not more than one-quarter of the pipe diameter, and the concrete must not be stratified and segregated, and water seepage should not occur to prevent clogging of the delivery pipeline.

How does the concrete pump truck pump concrete up?

The power of the concrete pump truck is transmitted to the hydraulic pump group or the rear axle through the power transfer case. The hydraulic pump pushes the piston to drive the concrete pump to work. Then the concrete is transported to a certain height and distance using the placing boom and delivery pipe on the pump truck.
