The difference between a continuous mixing plant and a batch mixing plant, which one is better to choose? Batch type, also known as periodic type, the batch type mixing plant first puts the raw materials into the mixer hopper according to the proportion, and then mixes them. Its feeding and discharging system is cycled according to a certain cycle. Although it does not have a larger output than a continuous mixing plant, it has five highs: high system configuration, high batching accuracy, high reliability, high productivity guarantee, and high cost performance. Since the various raw materials to be mixed are accurately weighed and the error is low, the mixing quality is good. At present, most mixing stations adopt this type of operation method.

The continuous mixing station is to put different materials into the designated hopper, and the computer digital control sends the aggregate to the mixing tank according to the set ratio for mixing, and its feeding and discharging are carried out continuously. This kind of mixing plant has the characteristics of high stability, low maintenance cost, low space occupancy rate, low failure, low wear, low energy consumption and the advantages of large output, high efficiency and uniform mixing.

Advantages of continuous concrete batching plant:

1. The host works smoothly. The conveyor system feeds materials evenly without intermittent, which ensures the smooth operation of the mixer.

2. The finished product enters the car smoothly. The stirred concrete material is evenly unloaded into the mixer truck.

3. Small space occupation. The storage hopper is reduced, and the occupied area is small.

4. Low wear of wear parts. Stirs smoothly without shock, while stirring less.

5. Low energy consumption. The total installed power is small, and a small amount of raw materials enter the mixer evenly, so that the amount of mixing at the same time is small and the energy consumption is reduced.

6. Low use and maintenance costs. The structure links are few, the belt is short, and the work is stable.

Advantages of batch concrete batching plant:

1. The lower discharge port of the silo is larger, the material in the silo will not arch (the silo does not need a vibrator), the feeding speed is fast, the feeding time is short, and one load of concrete can be produced at one time, the operating frequency of the cylinder is small, and the service life long.

2. The amount of material added from the storage bin to the weighing hopper does not affect the batching accuracy.

3. The batching time and lifting time are combined into one, the feeding time of the storage bin to the weighing hopper is short, and the batching time and lifting time are longer. Therefore, the sensor has sufficient stable response time, the ingredient overshoot is small, and the lifting load is small.

4. The speed of the strong-pull belt is controlled by a computer and a frequency converter to achieve soft start and stop, with small impact and less sticky material on the belt. All kinds of aggregates are discharged, mixed and lifted evenly in a basically fixed time.
