Aggregate conveying method of concrete mixing station

There are two ways of conveying aggregates in concrete batching plant: bucket conveying and belt conveying. The advantages of bucket lifting are small footprint and simple structure. The advantages of belt conveying are large conveying distance, high efficiency and low failure rate. Belt conveying is mainly suitable for mixing stations with aggregate temporary storage bins, thereby improving the productivity of mixing stations.

1. Bucket lifting:

Working principle

The bucket is pulled by a pulley block and wire rope with a brake winch to achieve the purpose of lifting the bucket. In large and medium-sized mixing stations, double wire rope transmission is often used; in small mixing stations, most of them directly use a suspended single rope transmission or a single rope transmission guided by a pulley installed on the bucket.

2. Inclined belt type

Working principle

The belts are connected into a closed loop, and they are tightened with a tensioning device. Driven by the motor, the friction between the conveyor belt and the drive roller makes the conveyor belt run continuously, so as to achieve the purpose of transporting aggregates from the loading end to the unloading end.

Features

The advantages of belt conveying are large conveying distance, high efficiency and low failure rate; the tensioning device is to make the conveyor belt have sufficient tension, ensure that the friction between the conveyor belt and the drive roller prevents the conveyor belt from slipping, and at the same time adjust the impact of the change in the length of the conveyor belt; the machine cover mainly plays a role in dust and rain protection.
